Nothing much really has happened since I was accepted on to the CRP. We still don’t have a date which is getting a little frustrating but I suppose if Yummy haven’t told us then they must not have heard from Disney yet. A couple of people have been given places since the initial round of job offers and I’m very jealous because they all go out this year!

The most exciting thing in my Disney prep so far has been sending off my CRB form for my criminal background check and I was mega late in doing that! Was getting worried they’d give someone else my place because it was taking me so long to get a copy of my birth certificate!!

The next exciting thing in my Disney adventure is the first Disney Meet Up! Lots of us are going to Manchester for a couple of days in July for some amazing Disney fun times. One of the best things about this whole process is the people you meet. I really hope that I’ll make some friends for life during this program.

On the 5th of April, just two months after I submitted my application to join the Disney Cultural Representative Program, I received a phone call from James at Yummy Jobs to offer me a place at the UK Pavillion in Food and Beverage starting in January 2014.

I can’t wait to start a new chapter of my life. It’s going to be a huge adventure but I’m up for the challenge. There are a few of us going out in January with more joining us through the next few months. The application process has been amazing and I’ve met so many incredible people. For those got the cryptic “maybe opportunity list maybe not” email then I have my fingers crossed for every single one of you because you were all such a joy to meet and I want to share the rest of the experience with you too. It must have been such a challenge for Sue to choose between us all!

This is just the beginning.
